The Princess of Wales’ decision to announce things up this Mother’s Day in terms on what she uploads on social media has left many fans wondering the same thing – ‘Why?’
In Kate’s 2025 post, the mum-of-three uploaded emotional video crediting Mother Nature on social media yesterday (30 Mar), breaking her tradition of sharing family photos.The clip – which has her children, Princes George and Louis, and Princess Charlotte – sees the 43-year-old touching the bark of a tree. Her husband, Prince William, meanwhile, is seen from the back, walking through a forest with the family’s dog, Orla.
“Over the past year, nature has been our sanctuary,” Kate captioned the video.

“This Mother’s Day, let us celebrate Mother Nature and recognise how our bond with the natural world can help not only nurture our inner selves, but remind us too of the role we play within the rich tapestry of life. C.”
Now, any follower of the British monarchy will be curious that Kate’s latest post is world’s away from her usual Mother’s Day content.
